This website was one of the official communication channels used by Chadchart Sithipun for his campaign to become Bangkok mayor, containing more than 200 policies and insights from the Better City team.

Map View: District Policy

There are a new sets of issues to deal with in different parts of the city every day, and each issue required a unique solution. We carefully chose the map to show the different policies and concerns on each district. By this unique view, viewers can easily connect the dots between their own lives and those of individuals around them.

Content Management System

A Content Management System was used to allow the Better Bangkok team to manage content in real time to suit the circumstances and the public's interest during the election campaign.

Process

Boonmee Lab and the Better Bangkok teams brainstormed about what kind of website we wanted citizens to see, and how we could make that happen. For both visitors and content managers, Chadchart's website should be as simple to use as possible. With more than 200 policies to choose from, it was imperative that we make it easier for people to find and review the ones they're interested in quickly.

Bangkokian voters are between the ages of 18 and more than 100 years old. It means that Boonmee Lab team must keep in mind two key points when designing interfaces: friendly design for all ages and fast data loading. Bold bright green color was chosen as part of art direction to ensure that the campaign's branding was consistent.

Before going live, both the Better Bangkok team and members of the internal Boonmee Lab development team thoroughly tested the website. We also closely followed election laws and updated the website as necessary.
